COMDISTAT CD100
Type: CD 100 CD 100 for indoor and outdoor use

The COMDISTAT Type CD100 is an universal analog / digital control and display device for theindication of pressure, gas density or temperature depending of how the unit is programmed.

  • Pressure range 0...10 bar abs. 0 ... 145 psi
  • Large analog instrument (Ø 100 mm)
  • Programmable for pressure, gas density or temperature via remote control
  • Very fast and vibrationfree reading of the analog instrument due to the use of a servo principle
  • High switching accuracy
  • 4 relais for monitoring of the thresh holds

Comdistat Typ 100

The Comdistat can be used as an all-purpose analog/digital monitoring and display device to indicate pressure, gas density or temperature, depending of how the unit is programmed. The device utilizes a transmitter principle with a high-precision, temperature-compensated piezoresistive pressure sensor.

The programmable transmitter delivers, in accordance with the desired function (pressure, gas density, or temperature), digital measurement signals that are then displayed on an analog instrument with the help of a small servo-motor. That makes for very fast and easy reading of the analog instrument, without having to interpret numbers and, with its diameter of 100 mm, even at a distance. The advantage of this display principle is very fast response of the meter with a vibration-resistant and oscillation-free pointer.

The device is programmed for one of the three physical values with the help of an infrared remote control unit. The four switching thresholds can also be adjusted via the remote control. Accordingly, there is an infrared receiving diode on the display face. There is also an optical function indicator on the scale..

The outputs for the four adjustable switching thresholds use four relays with floating contacts. The contact outputs for the relays are wired to a suitable multi-pole socket inside the instrument. The corresponding connector cable passes to the outside world through a cable gland.

The values chosen for the thresholds and when programming the instrument will survive a power failure.

The voltage reqierement is rated by a built in voltage stabilized power supply unit with two possible feeding voltages of 85 VDC … 350 VDC or 120 VAC … 240 VAC.
